Desde su retorno a la instituci\u00f3n, M\u00e9ndez viene teniendo un interesante rendimiento en el equipo, gan\u00e1ndose la titularidad y siendo de gran importancia para el ataque de Pe\u00f1arol.<\/p>\n

Autor de 2 goles (frente a Defensor Sporting en el Franzini y ante Nacional en el Parque Central) y una asistencia en 6 partidos (464 minutos), el atacante de 26 a\u00f1os viene siendo la incorporaci\u00f3n que mejor rindi\u00f3 hasta el momento.<\/p>\n

En el partido cl\u00e1sico, dentro del mal rendimiento del equipo, le bast\u00f3 para sobresalir y generar las pocas situaciones mientras estuvo en cancha.
