Finalizando el 2014 ya existen 30. Los requisitos para fundar una Pe\u00f1a oficial exigen un \u201cun m\u00ednimo de 3<\/strong><strong>0 socios en las barriales, 20 en el interior y 10 en el exterior (cualquiera sea su\u00a0categor\u00eda) con cuota al d\u00eda al momento de la solicitud\u201d. Las hay barriales, en localidades del interior y en el exterior. En el interior el proyecto comenz\u00f3 en el 2010 y hoy existen 59 Pe\u00f1as y en el exterior 9, sumando en total 98 Pe\u00f1as oficiales.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 moviliza a estos individuos a trabajar voluntaria y desinteresadamente?: <strong>El amor hacia la instituci\u00f3n<\/strong>, alentarla en los campos de juego, apoyarla con acciones positivas dentro del club y colaborar \u2013en la medida de lo posible\u2014 para su \u00e9xito en todos los terrenos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed, las Pe\u00f1as recaudan fondos para las Divisiones Juveniles organizando bailes o vendiendo rifas, entre otras cosas. Es una forma de apadrinarlas para que los j\u00f3venes futbolistas crezcan en su amor al club rodeado de este grupo de socios, mayoritariamente joven.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su trabajo voluntario tambi\u00e9n puede verse en las mejoras de las instalaciones, como la <a title=\"Pe\u00f1a La Frontera: mejoras en Las Acacias\" href=\"https:\/\/www.padreydecano.com\/cms\/penas\/pena-la-frontera-mejoras-en-las-acacias\/\" target=\"_blank\">limpieza de los alrededores del estadio \u00abCr. Jos\u00e9 Pedro Damiani\u00bb<\/a> (Las Acacias) y la <a title=\"Las Pe\u00f1as pintan Los Aromos\" href=\"https:\/\/www.padreydecano.com\/cms\/los-aromos\/las-penas-pintan-los-aromos\/\" target=\"_blank\">pintada del muro de Los Aromos<\/a> con la inscripci\u00f3n de \u201cClub Atl\u00e9tico Pe\u00f1arol 1891 Decano\u201d. Este trabajo fortalece y expresa, en hechos concretos, el sentimiento de pertenencia, al tiempo que crea nuevos espacios de compromiso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero las Pe\u00f1as llevan su compromiso social m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del club. El a\u00f1o pasado se organizaron donaciones para la vuelta a clases en las escuelas carenciadas, en el D\u00eda del Ni\u00f1o, la Telet\u00f3n y en la campa\u00f1a del abrigo; tambi\u00e9n donaciones para merenderos, centros protectores de animales, iglesias y fundaciones de ni\u00f1os con c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sus miembros, sus l\u00edderes y a\u00fan sus lugares de reuni\u00f3n suelen ser desconocidos para buena parte de la opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica y el periodismo. Sin embargo esos \u201cdesconocidos de siempre\u201d son la esencia misma de los pe\u00f1arolenses, de los carboneros, de los manyas que nacieron en 1891, tan diferentes de los que ganan espacio en la prensa por las peores razones: no comprender o comprender mal la grandeza de pertenecer al <a title=\"Decanato\" href=\"https:\/\/www.padreydecano.com\/cms\/penarol-decano-futbol-uruguayo\/\" target=\"_blank\">Decano del F\u00fatbol Uruguayo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Les invitamos a conocer estas Pe\u00f1as, la de su barrio, su pueblo o su ciudad.
