Jos\u00e9 Pedro Damiani<\/strong> como candidato a presidente y su hijo <strong>Juan Pedro Damiani<\/strong> como candidato a vicepresidente (Lista 10). Por la oposici\u00f3n aparecen <strong>Ricardo Scaglia<\/strong> (Lista 11) y <strong>Ruben Marturet<\/strong> (Lista 12).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otra vez lo deportivo toma importancia ya que se acumulaban los fracasos. Luego de una luz de esperanza al ganar el Campeonato Uruguayo en el 2003 con vuelta en la cara a Nacional incluida, volv\u00edan los malos resultados que nos acompa\u00f1aron en la d\u00e9cada del 2000.\u00a0\u00a0En\u00a02004 terminamos 5\u00b0 en ambos torneos (Apertura y Clausura); en el 2005 3\u00b0 en el Uruguayo Especial, y no clasificamos para las Copas Internacionales ni en 2004 ni en 2005.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta elecci\u00f3n quedar\u00e1 marcada por el conflicto con el contratista Francisco Casal. La bandera del oficialismo de la Lista 10 fue \u00abPor un Pe\u00f1arol independiente\u00bb. Fue una elecci\u00f3n muy pareja donde gan\u00f3 el oficialismo por el\u00a0m\u00ednimo: 6 a 5 fueron los cargos entre oficialismo y oposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>La cantidad de habilitados para votar fue de\u00a06.080 habilitados, de los cuales sufragaron solo 3.457, alrededor de un 57 %. La lista 10 de Damiani obtuvo 1.693 votos, la Lista 11 de Scaglia 1.042 y la Lista 12 de Marturet 601 votos. Tambi\u00e9n present\u00f3 lista Juan Lema Benso que solo alcanz\u00f3 sumar 67 votos y no pudo ingresar al Consejo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por la Lista 10 ingresaron el <strong>Cr. Jos\u00e9 Pedro Damiani, Juan Pedro\u00a0Damiani, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Dom\u00ednguez, Cr. Juan Fern\u00e1ndez Methol, V\u00edctor Cabrera <\/strong>y<strong> Dr. Rafael Gim\u00e9nez Barbot. <\/strong>Por la Lista 11 lo hicieron<strong> Ricardo Scaglia, Arq. Vito Atijas y Cr. Gervasio Gedanke<\/strong> y por la Lista 12<strong> Ruben Marturet <\/strong>y<strong> el Esc.
