Este grupo, formado por 12 personas, decidi\u00f3 llamar a su instituci\u00f3n con el nombre de <em>Club Atl\u00e9tico Nacional<\/em>. No es algo fuera de lo normal, ya que hoy en d\u00eda abundan los conjuntos con el vocablo \u00ab<em>Nacional<\/em>\u00ab, tanto que necesitan una identificaci\u00f3n aparte en competencias internacionales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He aqu\u00ed lo curioso. 12 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de su fundaci\u00f3n, tras haber ganado varios campeonatos de la <strong>Liga Venadense de F\u00fatbol<\/strong>, el Estado argentino le exigi\u00f3 a esta instituci\u00f3n el cambio de denominaci\u00f3n -reservando el vocablo \u00ab<em>Nacional<\/em>\u00bb para uso propio-. Tras el cambio de nombre obligatorio, el conjunto argentino decidi\u00f3 llamarse <strong><span style=\"color: #ffcc02;\">Club Atl\u00e9tico Pe\u00f1arol<\/span><\/strong>, debido al prestigio que nuestro club ya pose\u00eda a principios de siglo y acompa\u00f1ado de que los colores de identificaci\u00f3n de dicho club eran el amarillo y el negro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el d\u00eda de hoy, el <strong><span style=\"color: #ffcc02;\">Club Atl\u00e9tico Pe\u00f1arol Elortondo<\/span><\/strong> sigue existiendo. No solamente eso, sino que ha crecido ampliamente creando una sede social y un campo deportivo entre otras cosas. A su vez, desde mediados del siglo anterior, se comenz\u00f3 a practicar b\u00e1squetbol, bochas y ciclismo.
